Before buying a crank scraper, you should know that every VG30DE and DETT already have this system. It is incorporated into the oil pan .
So don't spend your money unnecessarily. One of the best crank scraper company does not made model for our car. It shows the VG30DETT engine as an example of the OEM crank scraper.

Alright, stupid question. How do those little fins in the bottom of the sump act as a crank scraper?

I have the same ones on the bottom of my VH45DE sump along with a windage tray, they wouldn't get anywhere near the crank.

looks like those fins are there to direct flow from the protruding section of the sump, back towards the drain hole (top right) through the baffle.

Crank scrapers work on minute tolerances, and this doesn't really look like any crank scraper I've seen, unless of course the picture you posted is missing the crank scraper part.

Mostly agree although crank scrapers don't need to work on 'minute tolerances' , a few mm clearance is fine.

The pic shows a complete sump, I've done scrapers for other motors but decided against doing one for a sump like that. It would not be impossible to do but given the work Nissan did and the lack of space I decided against it and fitted an Accusump instead.

So it doesn't exactly scrape oil from the crankshaft, I was like WTF as well, after reading some shit, it basically is designed to remove wind torrent to stop the oil from sucking up and around the crankshaft/rods causing imbalance weight distribution.

The Z32 pan is already designed that way. Doesn't look too much like a scraper more of a oil splash surge protector. Not to protect oil from not sucking up through the pickup tube but to stop oil splashing the crank.
