94 model... ...with genuine 53k would be worth close to that. Slicktop and manual is desirable. Note the steering wheel is slightly different yet not the typical airbag steering wheel.
Personally i don't see the attraction of a slick-top. Part of the Z32 experience as far as i am concerned is the targas off weekend cruise! Get rid of that and you might as well have a skyline... Why want something that detracts from the car?
slicktops are just a lot more sexual. If i want wind in my hair ill just put down the windows.. targa tops... pffft :lame:
Interestingly enough, he paid $8,500 on ebay at the end of July while it was in Japan, from memory. (item 260425688122 You will have to catch the seller's feedback)
Targas are sexual!!! Not sure how having a 'standard car roof' can be sexual? Targas on any car are rare as hen's teeth so flaunt them I say!
Exactly. That's why both my cars are targa I wouldn't buy anything other than a targa or convertible now. There's nothing like taking the roof off and enjoying the sun, pumping some tunes and getting positive looks from the ladies
That's because targa's are oldschool!! lol jk jk Each to their own, but i think a slicktop looks a bit more sexy when you're looking down at it from high up (e.g when you're on the second floor of a building looking down on the street) To be honest, if I were looking to buy a zed, I would try and buy the latest model i could afford. I f you look on carsales, its quite rare to find anything 1994 an above in great condition. With the k's and the condition of the car from the pics, i think the price is about right (ie- possibly 16.5 to 17.5 after negotiating)
Hardtop (aka Slicktop) is more sleek, gf dosent like the look of the targa's (use to till she saw the hardtop, now loves it and dislikes the targa look, same as the porsches, I dont like how the roof has to go "flat" instead of a nice curve just for something that is heavier and leaks and dosent look as good
