www.perthzperformance.com.au----------------------------------www.cazracing.com.au Thank you to all of those who have ordered the calendar and to all of those who voted! There is a great spread of cars from different states, different colours and not a bad balance of NA an TT cars as well! Of course a BIG thank you to all of those who submitted photos! This project wouldn't have gotten off the ground if it wasn't for your participation! To those who didn't make it in this year, please try again next year, it was a really close battle for this years top 12, so you'll have a good chance of getting into next years calendar! :zlove: There are: States: Vic - 4 NSW/ACT - 3 QLD - 3 TAS - 1 WA - 1 NT - 0 (no entries) SA - 0 (no entries) Colours: 3x Black 3x Red 2x Blue 1x Gunmetal 1x Purple 1x White 1x Yellow Engine: 4x NA 8x TT Chasis: 1x Convertible 11x Targa so I think a good variety has been voted for in the end. I'm looking forward to getting the next stage of the calendar underway now and we are well on track to meet the next deadline Cheers, Andrew
two in appropriate choices Seriously UniqueZed and Wykked are inappropriate choices because these two cars contain massive visual branding / sponsorship which is in conflict with your sponsors. Is this suppose to be a calendar for forum members or an advertising campaign. Flame on.
WOT! No V8's? Absolute sacrilege.:zlove::zlove: I think the choices are OK(but funny things can happen when you open it up to a vote). Who remembers Alexander Downer, or Al Grazby?:biggrin:
if thats a serious issue for you then you should've brought it up earlier, perhaps during the voting period? sorry dude but sounds like sour grapes here, suck it up.
I understand what you are trying to say, but all along there was going to be a chance that a car with advertising could make it into the calendar. As it was an open vote, it is not in my control as to who gets into the calendar, it was chosen by over 75 votes! This is the peoples accumulative choice, there will obviously be people that will be dissapointed that they didnt make it in, but as I said in my first post, try to turn that dissapointment into determination to be in next years calendar! Just an added note to everyone, of the seven calendars next to my name, five were for friends and family who did their own votes, and I didn't use my two votes at all...
Honestly did not expect my zed to get in Nothing to do with my zed not being included because in all honesty I did not expect it to be, as a few people have already expressed their opinions on a V8 powered zeds as though it is sacrilege. The facts are your business model is inappropriate, you should not take sponsorship from one group then have their competitors taking the glory (unless your sponsor is not competing). Now I am sure Caz will say it is okay with her because that is the nice lady she is. But honestly two sponsored cars out of 12 for a forum calendar is inappropriate irrespective of what the voting is. END OF TOPIC.
I'm sorry you do not agree, but you dont actually know my business model. If you'd take your disgression to PM I'd be glad to tell you. This is not meant to be a discussion about who got in and who didnt. From way back in mid-March, I said I wanted to get a calendar of Australias best Z32's. By cutting anyone out of the list would hinder that straight away. Tom and Caz were aware of this from day one. At the end of the day those two cars will only be visible for two months in the year, its not like they are taking over the calendar!
my thoughts Coming from a non biast point of view, and I say this because my car was NOT entered for the calender, the vote could not have been any fairer. Everyone who ordered one got to vote and from those votes the final twelve were chosen. I'm sure there will be some mention of sponsorship on the calender and if Tom or Caz had wanted their cars on the calender that badly they would have made a point of ensuring this happened. I know that when I voted, I simply went through all the photos and picked, in my opinion, the best looking zeds from all the photo's. The calender is supposed to be a celebration of a beautiful car and I'm sure this is the intention of all involved in the production of said calender. Had my say except for, well done to all involved for producing such a quality product and keep up the good work!. Cheers Andy
Looks like a good lineup Andrew , 8 out of the 12 I voted for made it in but there were also many I wanted to vote for but just ran out of spots Steven, I'm sure if it was a problem PZP and Caz would have said something to Andrew and well before the voting started! Bit late to be blowing the whistle now and its beside the point as you have nothing to do with the organizing of the calendar apart from being an entrant...its not your call to make but Andrew's and the associated sponsors. Everyone who voted for and bought a copy of the calender did it for their love of the Z32 and people are already aware of the services offered by or through UniqueZed and Wykked, they don't need the calendar to reveal it to them And whats got your knickers in a knot this time Romonski, are you sore because your Z didn't make it on the calendar or just jumping on the wagon with Steven because you don't like Andrews rear wing ...an explanation could help clarify what your on about Can't wait to get my calendar! Cheers! Craig
wohoo...benny....we are leading the way for blue zeds chris did well to build my convertible...his mods have made it one appealing zed, and im glad it made it cant wait to get my hands on the calender... congrats to all else who made it...some stunning zeds there
sour grapes. End of topic. Are you high? Great job Andrew. Don't listen to the nay-sayers, they've either grumpy cos they didn't make the cut or just a trollin' Great choices everyone, pretty much exactly how I would have voted.
