WA "Northwards and Onwards" cruise 23/8/2009

I am new to the forums...got directed from the wazregister!! I would like to come on this trip. I have a 260Z (stock). I am not a rally driver, just a daily driver. Is it ok to come?

 

Sure! No reason for you to be a rally driver to come along. I too have a daily driver, as do a lot of us.

would love to have you and your z along for the ride!!

i really want to see more of the early "classic" z cars on cruises, they are incredible cars and you dont see enough of them in on the club scene, so the more the better.....if you happen to have friends that also have z cars, dont forget to let them know this cruise is on......

looks like other than a 280z and the really early z's(1st gen convertable) we have got the whole nissan z car range from start to finish covered, sweet!!!:zlove:

 

can't remember the web address exactly, but check out the datsun register. They are a car club full of 240's and 260's, i remember checking them out not long ago and was tempted to approach them for a car cruise to be organised.
never amounted to anything as i was focusing too much on getting mine back together.

At present I'm liasing with Nightrider who did the music for the last video.

What I'm keen to do this time round is have a consistant "sound" flowing through the whole production. Involving more than 1 muso "may" make that harder... but maybe not.

Keen to hear your stuff for sure. If not for this vid, for another.

Also I note WA300Z is going to do an edit of this cruise (im not doing a "cruise" vid this time... more an "about Zeds" video) so he may be keen to use your stuff too.

On this topic, is there ANYONE good at Special Effects, transitions, titles etc that wants to help out?

Also, anyone with good voice over/voice acting experience or knows someone who does it that would "donate" thier time and skills to this?

Possibly preferably chick....maybe not... not sure.

Should be a good turn out, Mine is nearly there but not quite, clutch pedals are a real PITA to put in .

I made the mistake of pulling them apart aswell, OUCH, finally got my injector plugs too wrong ones but a few little mods and all's well.

i must say, 43 cars+ is absolutley obscene.....gonna be a great day, really looking forward to it!

heres hoping the weather holds good for the day! the cruise will go ahead rain or shine, but its always more fun when its dry (and safer too.......)

 

haha told ya 2 rip those bastard solenoids out before you chucked the engine in dude !!

 

solenoids are out - just got the boost controller sitting on 0.7. Needs to be adjusted but i'm going to get a tune - don't think i'll get it done by the cruise.

 

Correct, I'll try and do an edit for this cruise. Don't know how I'm going to get the footage, unfortunately I don't have a cam yet.

edit; this will be more of a video montage with music etc, different to ugame's overall package.

Might have roped in a bloke (Nelson) with a 350z to come along. Still not sure if he is free, but 1 more is always welcome

picked up my tailshaft today, ordered yesterday and picked up today, $500 made from scratch with new serviceable uni's. Really happy
