AHG CIRCUIT DAY POSSIBILITY - I NEED YOUR EOI IF THIS IS TO GO AHEAD
    [IMG]

On keeping with me booking AHG theme, we have a possibility of a day at the AHG track on the road circuit. This is the track (based on a mini backwards barbegello), that is always reserved for the V8 business. For some unknown reason the V8`s do not have the track on this day, and i have been emailed by AHG to see if I want to book a session.

I do not think these sessions will remain unbooked for too long.

This would be the same requirements as the AHG motokhana. One at a time, all the basic driver and vehicle requirements apply.

    Saturday 26th September
    12-2.30 & 2.30-5pm 12 participants maximum

    Only 2 sessions available.

If you are interested, please reply to this thread. If there is enough immediate interest, I will book a session for Aus300zx and be the event organiser.

    PRICE IS $85PP

We have a work track day on the road circuit every couple of months so it's definitely available.

Is that during the week? This is a weekend where most of the guys here should be available.

Last time i enquired about the track on the weekends that said it was not possible because the V8`s have it for their business.

    I got this email today,
    "Hi Everyone,

Usually only available on weekdays- in September I have four Tuning Sessions (Road circuit only) on the long weekend available to car clubs/private groups.

    "

I'm gonna get killed when the wife gets home....lock it in lol

Do we get an "instructor" available for noobs? (me) or is it just drive till you die?

    EDIT: SORRY COUNT ME OUT
Just thought. No point me doing something like this (much as i want to) until I've got my guard rubbing fixed.

That = 2 new front tyres and suspension work :(

Count me out FOR NOW, and I'll see what I can do about getting loan wheels and tyres lol .....hmm... Falcon same bolt pattern? (eyes up the wifes 17" rims)

You're right. I'm talking about during the week, not on weekends.

Can you ask if the car has to be currently licensed? It will be touch and go if I have her over the pits by then :)

But If all goes well then yeh count me in.

Are instructors availiable for a bit of a hand out on the track?

Car must be 'Road Worthy'. I do not know if this is interpreted as licenced.

And yes, there will be an instructor on hand to give advice and driving tips.

yes, 17's from AU-FG (late 98 to current) have the same PCD and a usable offset for Z32. If it's pre AU then the PCD is right but the offset is 0, so they will stick out the guards a lot, would look tough :p

Pretty sure it doesn't need to be licenced, bikes don't but anything that seems unsafe will get kicked out

My only concern is the $1,400 I spent on new proxies. Think it'll be right?

Thats a good thing. I dont understand.

Good tyres for a track day are good.

And you said they cost $1300 ?
