Why would you get rid of the tuned intake?

there is someone in vic. their called status tuning. im gonna go see them again in a few weeks about tuning my car and they said its not a problem using the nistune. they are happy to install and tune it for a very decent price. they are a licensed distributor for nistune and they have apparently done a few zeds in the past. ill let you know how it goes.

The k-value is a constant for injector duty calculations and is injector specific, has nothing to do with the type of motor be it a 1.5L 4 banger or a 7L V12. Some factors around ignition timing and the variable for VTC are specific to a well tuned VG, but apart from that the main area's for gain with a nissan ecu is AFR's and Timing.

You cannot choose map sensor option on Nistune. You can always extend the AFM wires anywhere you like.

Hey there was just reading through the forum and thought i would add my 2 cents worth on the nistune subject.

i have been tuning and using it for over 3 years now on a variety of nissan engine, Gtrs sr20 Vls. bla bla

Every car is indeed different and the K constants should be adjusted to allow for correct mixtures before tuning actually begins, ie compensating for injectors that have done 10000km and so on , im not going to go into detail , but you get the idea, you can even compensate for a slow reading afms,

nistune is the best and Cost effective tuning method for nissan i swear by it, and always will,

Saying a Z needs to be tuned differently is not correct, using the correct tools you can accuratly see how the engine need to be tuned, example low reving engine, long stroke = more timing down low .

and reading above earlyer saw that a car wouldnt start after beeing tuned with nistune, this simply would have been the cold start coefficient, needing to be rescaled, along with the cranking advance.

not trying to be smart here just adding a bit more insight,

    cheers,

high independance or low ? what brand ? wat size afm ? fuel pressure?

thats what im trying to say there is no set value, its dependant on the car,
of corse there is a ball park figure.
