Different brand, that's about it. They will both do the same job for you. So i'd go the cheapies personally :)

I've had $70 cheapies in my car for 3+ years now and not a problem at all :)

I've got the H3 6000k bulbs too btw.

If you want to be technical, they're both illegal. For retro-fitted HIDs to be legal you'll need auto-levelling mechanisms as well as water squirters for the headlight lenses.

Other than that, the first link you posted with the standard sized ballasts ($88) with H3 blb, 4300K colour temp would be otherwise 'legal'... You could get slim ballasts but not completely necessary.

The law requires lights at the front of the car to be 'white' so anything above 4300 will contain blue... but lots of people run higher colour temps without problems from the Fuzz.

Anything above 6000K is a waste of time(and is almost a guarantee of being defected in NSW, plus vision is reduced above that figure).
BTW, those "Driving lights" are Fog Lights, and as such, are completely useless as driving lights because they don't have adequate reflector lens' to produce a lengthy beam.
Putting HID's in them is futile(even if it does make them brighter).
You will get a better result by just replacing the stock 35W globes with 55W Blue/White H3's.:zlove::zlove:

I've got a new 6000k and 4300k kit for sale. $110 each including postage. also got 12000k globes if you want bling but be ware, you cannot see anything and might as well not have head lights.
