I just downloaded Best Motoring '92 Nov volume where they're having a convertible car battle and it featured the convertible 300ZX. There's a drag battle and the vert being AT performed quite badly. However when it came to the track battle the vert they used was a manual one I always thought there were no manual verts produced even in Japan? or does that rule only apply to Aerotop Supras? If anyone is interested in seeing the track battle, I'll cut that segment out and Youtube it.
no there are manuals in the converible just not as common as the auto . I think they were by order only
cool, thanks for the info. yes, vid is all in jap and i'm uploading it now. will provide linkage once it's up.
nice upload mike i think the 300zx vert did awesome....was up the ass of the v8 vett most of the time....and the only other cars that beat it was a turbo (supra???) and a lightweight little thingy...
i want that silver thing at the end . ( ill show you what i can do to it ) cute little thing .. even tho it did come last i still like it .. . t51r anyone ...lol... crazy vid mike ,,, good work .....
suzuki cappuccino? LOL they rock, used to see them advertised all the time when we still had the pre sevs low volume grey imports.
The cappuccino? I've only ever seen them at grey import dealers and have never heard of aus delivered ones. Also they're not SEVs approved even though technically they should be. Currently the only ones you can get are ones already in the country. Kinda like the few 2k spec zeds which snuck in under the old rules but held onto tightly in secrecy by their loving owners. http://www.insurecar.com.au/insure-car-articles/1998/4/5/cappuccino-anyone/ http://autospeed.drive.com.au/cms/title_Buying-Used-Hot-Cappuccino/A_1918/article.html
haha, the sneaky japs left the vette out of the drags and the lotus 7 replica won with a 13. here's the result of the drags... the z vert used in the drags was auto not the manual one in the track race.
