    Gidday Guys (and Girls),
Just wondering how Important the black preformed splash guard is that attaches from the rear of the radiator and goes back under the engine.
Mine decided to depart the world this morning (after loud scraping on the ground, scared the shyte out of me at the time).
Is it just for airflow and neg G's ie.. vacuum under the car and if so is there a better replacement part around??
...or just leave it off and forget about it (like underbonnet foam stuff and the points on "who's line is it anyway" ...just don't matter)
    :zlove:

will matter if you go through a puddle... water into your air intake (if you have a pod) is not good...
and stops random crap from flying up into your engine if you go over something stupid..

    i would replace it..

I had this happen to me, took me a few days to workout as it happened to happen at the same time as blowing some coolant hoses. Reattach the thing with cable ties if it's still in one piece, you dont want any uncontained water in your engine bay now do you.

Yeah true... pod filter should be fine though as the front part is seperate and still intact, but stuff going into the engine bay is a bit of a worry.
That's a nice piece of metal you've got there Simon, where can I get me one and how much??

I wonder how much it would cost to make locally. I used to work sheet metal when I was a whee whipper snapper, might go back to the factory in Moorabin and find out.

    The front alloy

splash guard wont fit, if your using a/m side mounts, the stock plastic job has to be cut and so will the alloy afaik!

Would those tabs go up to a front mount intercooler? if so, how would you secure it to an N/A front bar??
