just setup a twin pod intake. i can notice a bit of a power increase probably just because i was using a really bad pod before. heres some pics of it
i would advise you to put the splash shield back on pronto or youll be booking a tow truck on the first rainy day
because while i still own it i want to drive it the way i like it? i couldnt care less what the person thats going to buy the car wants if they dont like it, they dont buy it. simple im in no hurry to sell it
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but what's the point of having two pod filters when the rest of the piping is exactly the same ? Can't imagine where the power gain would have came from.. Unless the previous pod filter was well and truly covered with crap, I think the power gain is in the OP's head.. -Kirill
yep, you clearly need a minimum of 67 on an NA to get any gain. +1HP for that, or paint it orange and ad 47 screens. goes 100x quicker again.
^Yes that's exactly what I was pointing out. You could have 5 pods, the single afm is still fixed size. -Kirill
there is no gain in setups like this. you guys are correct. i have a smiliar setup and there is no gain the vacuum is at a constant pressure thru the one afm and will draw in that same pressure.... the gain is when you set up a proper twin setup, where its not 2 coming into 1 then splitting out to 2 again. in a proper setup each side has its own pod, one side with a afm and the other with a dummy. this setup will have a gain in performance... gains with this setup shown may include: intake sound louder and cleaner air probably... more filter area etc... other than that its just wank factor :whatever: (yes i have it for wank factor )
