wow, talk about clean. why cant i just have alot of money and a big shed =( very nice z31 there, good luck with the sale.
and z32 factory rims usually go for about $400 with near new tyres on them, so you may want to lower your price. seen some as low as $120 for full set.
Yeah, I just posted the price of the factory OEM item i seen on the web, rounded it off, plus these ones have tyres, but i seen a few second hand items on ebay recently so i guess ur aroundabout right. $120 is a bit low for a set of four though. i'm open to any offers, u know what they are worth i spose, make an offer if ur keen
Pics & Details The car has done 210,000kms, I have spent $1800 on it in the time i have had it (3 years), including bringing the cooling system up to a working standard (radiator, hoses, thermostat, cooling fan, water pump etc $1200) and also fixing the power steering, brake cylinders ($600). It has been driven a handful of times in the whole time I have had this car, due to the fact I bought it as a project/weekend car and have not really had the funds for registration due to buying a Z32 about a year ago and have really been focusing on that. Its probably in need of an overall service as it has been sitting idle for a while. It has a small amount of rust in some of the usual places, and could use a bit of paint detail. Keep in mind that this is currently the only Z31 that is selling (or that I have seen for sale) in SA, and one of a few for sale in the country. Non-turbo automatics in reasonably good condition will fetch sometimes up to 7-9k for a series 1 and I have seen series 2 z31s with the smaller T28/25 turbo for 11k. I am going to wholesale this car soon so be quick. Thanks.
Howdy, car looks average clean but with the usual trim/body problems. Don't be disheartened but don't believe what cars are advertised for (just look at how long they stay advertised for). For a non original manual turbo your car will sell for roughly $2K.
Good luck with that, like i said if u can find another go for it. Personally i have owned an original z31 and unless you are 65 years old, its no where near as fun trust me. but if u are only willing to part 2k, i have already got a better offer so thanks but no thanks.
How much is my rare Australian built 89 Z31 with a VG30DET 280HP worth? It has after market Z32 ECU to make swapping chips easier. 3" exhaust system from the cat. Cima silver top motor. How many 89 Z31's are left. Not many if any. However I aint gonna sell it.
Cima silver top, isnt that a 3.3 litre? either way 280hp, at the wheels, or flywheel, is nice. The series 2 i seen (http://www.tradingpost.com.au/Autom...ars/AdNumber=W1039255589704?BackToResult=true) is a cali spec (leathers, electric seats, steering wheel radio controls) 88, automatic turbo selling for $11,250 in victoria. judging from what i know about the Z31 market in vic (more cars, cheaper) and knowing what i know about the QLD car market, and the rarity of the Z31 model, i would say your car is worth around 8-10k in its non original state, depending on the overall condition. if it was the VG33 (rarer) then maybe more. As far as the Victorian cali spec, i would offer him 10k considering its auto, and the vic market. I have seen cars for 1800-2500 in vic over the last 2 years however, nowdays u would be lucky to find an auto/NA selling for 2900.
i should ad that if i was looking for series 2 Z31, i would probably wait and try to find the cheapest possible, and realistically would spend around 5.5-6.5k for a non turbo/auto, and around 6.5-8 for a decent manual/turbo. im talking about stock standard VG30E/T. But nowdays Z31s are few and far between on the used market, and u would probably have to be in the right state at the right time, unless u were willing to buy interstate.
Thanks for the info skye and good luck with the sale. Pretty straight looking Z31 you have there. It is hard to find a nice one for under $4000.
