unfortunately. Very sorry to hear Pete, but no use pouring money down a money pit and am sure you'll look forward to getting out of a tight situation.

You gave AMEC a real breath of fresh air since you took over the reins and had some really clever plans/initiatives that would have taken off given a healthy economic climate. Profitable margins are just too tight to make much money in hi-po import mech work when saddled with high overheads these days.

Please don't take it personally, there are many solid businesses going under ATM despite doing everything right. Timing is everything... My business model works great (virutally zero overheads) but have too much work in consulting again to keep zedcare running as well.

Knowing your business acumen, you'll be into another venture before long (if you aren't already!) This is a hit to the 'privates' I know, but you'll be back into another money spinner soon.

Peter has sent me a PM requesting as many people as possible on "ONE"day to attend, so lets start with 2 dates. With enough help we can get it all done and dusted

Both are Saturdays, and I believe Pete will have the skip here on both these dates.

I can do either but would prefer 31st Jan.

Mark i think it will be a long time until my confidence recovers and I could take on anything like this again.

in the meantime I will be very happy if I can just get a semi decent paying job in a warehouse or something so i can get a source of income and I dont have to end up being declared bankrupt.

Just checked my diary, I'm not available either days I have to work the 31st.
I know someone in the tilt tray business. A carton got me out of trouble a few times
I can organise the transport of the car at least.

I think it would be really nice for us to show our appreciation for such a wonderful, knowledgeable, hard working beyond the call of duty forum member Fleet, by having a get together afterwards to grab something to eat and a drink to say thanks and to wish him well on his new and less stressful ventures.... I'm sure we can find somewhere to go thats fairly close by....
