Early July would be my preference. But I don't want to hold anyone up. If it comes down to it, I'll seperate myself from the deal and go solo at a later date. It would be the 4R for me.

    oh, and I'm very squeezable.

    urethane ?

so Rob, has it been established whether these bars are actually urethane ?, if the answer is yes, i am in, if it is no or not sure, i am out,
    cheers
failing this, i am interested in a full wings west urethane kit, but not at prices when the $aud was running 60 odd cents, i have noticed uas have still not changed prices to be in sync with the exchange rate

Re poly or glass, not sure i'm still waiting for an answer. As soon as i know i will post in the thread. Re the wings west kit, where are they made? If japan then i am happy to price one for you, otherwise best to contact UAS by phone as they usually discount for forum members. Keep in mind that while the exchange rates are more favourable, the other costs (such as rent/loan repayments, wages, etc) associated with running a business are way up from 12-18 months ago... Exchange rates aren't the only factor.

    Change of timeframe -July

Hi guys, I am looking at changing the timeframe to a July 14th cutoff, aiming to get this in AUS by the first week of august. This seems to suit the majority of serious contenders (ed300zx, zeb, andymac, gotta check with wiz)...

    How does that sound?

Is the rear bar going to fit a 2+2 does it come with a diffuser? I imagine it wouldnt fit the tank is going to be in the road of the exhaust.

comes in 2+0 and 2+2 for but is for a wide body kit...the beet kit to be exact, even though the beet kit comes in 2+2 only...atm

so the car pictured is probably a 2+0 as the exhaust is able to exit the rear centre :) which you cant do for a 2+2 without bending the pipes almost 90 deg to get it to the centre....crap flow....unless you move or make you fuel tank smaller.....big job just for a rear bar

Zedzy ed is correct. That bar is available for 2 plus 2 and coupe, but is designed for use with widebody kit.

the rear bar was made for the 300ZG widebody, not beet, but its used on beet anyway, its a nice bar, why not use it:)

the bar on the pentroof Z is the abflug 300z rear bar aswell, they use it on the both widebodys the BEET and 300ZG, but is not a wide bar itself, it hasnt been made any wider than stock, i know coz i have one sitting on my study floor waiting for my BEET kit,

also to anyone who cant afford the type 4 front bar now, ill have one up for sale in the coming weeks for less than 1200:)

    Fibreglass, not Urethane...

Guys I know we have been waiting a while for clarification and I've finally managed to ask the question in a way that we can all understand :D As above yes miscommunication between myself and japan, these parts are fibreglass, not urethane as originally stated.

Guys who have expressed interest can you please let me know if this affects your intention to order in July.

I will ask mods to change the thread title.

    Rear Bar...

So, let me get this straight...

The rear bar posted above is only made for a wide body kit and there are no versions for a normal Zed available?

The same bar is on the Pentroof Zed which is a normal Zed (not widebody), did they mod it to fit or...?

If they make this rear bar for a normal Zed then I will be highly interested.

    Cheers
    Rob.

My understanding is the the 300ZG cv2 bar I have pictured was made to go with the Beet widebody kit, but will also suit regular fenders. I am waiting for clarification from Japan on this though before I confirm any orders....
