Whos up for a tech day? About time we have one dont you think.. Or how about an engine pull day? about time mine comes out. lol Blueblood has pmed me and needs some help doing some simple stuff so i'll give him a help to do them so might as well have a tech day while we are at it... whos up for it? and when? 8th June 15th June 22nd June, Pick a day and ill open my house and bbq up for one and all. I'll put food on and maybe some beers, or byo a few drinks, BYO tools... I have tools yes but everytime i host a tech day they all go missing which doesn't make me or others want to host them so if you have tools and you plan to work on your car, bring them along...

lol..thanks to loud n proud for the interest..my car needs a lot of attention..the suspension (eg camber arm, bolts etc)some engine and power steering pump and rack leaks..!! actually somone needs to go for a test drive and check it because i dont understand whats wrong but i know that some thing is.. I ll get beers for sure.. :zlove:

i ve voted for 15th but i dont mind 22nd...as mentioned above need those things done..anybody knows how to install the mirrors..i got the ebay mirrors but dnt knw how to install the electrics..need a LHS triangle (not sure what its called) thing as well..any1 got a spare??
no problem.. it would be nice to have an engine pull/tech day i think. so will need to mainly set the time around some people that know what they are doing... always nice to have some old timers there for the engine virgins.. zductiv has donated his time lol, but we need to work that around uni exams which is 27th onwards so the next best date is the 29th.
i got a passenger door with electrics all in it... what do ya need exactly? if i got it... u can have it...
this is the one got a set of these when i got the mirrors off ebay..but they dont fit at all..i dont like the mirrors either..would prefer the standard mirrors if anyone's got them..i dont know how to fix the power mirror wires together..
mmmmm...i dont mind putting them on if i got that triangular thing in the picture above and as long as i get it working electrically..i dont think the mirrors fold..but the mirror can be adjusted..

but i like the indicators in the mirrors..i will fix it if i can get that triangular thing as in the picture..otherwise i ll have to buy the stock mirrors off someone..
my exams finish on the 18th, so a few days there to go see dont mess with the zohan and accept arrival of a new motor. josh are u putting a tt into your car??
na man, another stronger polished up NA. can't justified 5k to change it to TT, if i want that ill just go out and buy one and turn the NA into my daily... which i have been thinking about in the next year.
if its not a rude question can you say approx how much that cost and from where ? just for my future reference should i also need to go down this path . .
well... my engines on the way out and in need of some work so i found a local NA with good even compression all round, 100k service, still strong for about $450. an engine swap you can do for the cost of a tech weekend and some beer and thats about it aye... but.... whilst its out ive polished everything metal in sight for about $600, plenum pull, UDP and a dozenother mods for under 1k. so all up i will end up spending about 2k to get a nice polished, modded, strong NA.. look around.. how many NAs like that do you see?
