Nice work Dave Can you tell me how these would fit with the wide body? I'm thinking the side skirt section of the wide body kit might cover the lower vent on these front guards. Is this correct? Cheers Ben
wide body and vented guards Yes I already tried to line up the front flare - side skirts and yes the flare does cover up the first guard vent. Buy Im going to fit a flare to a vented guard and modify it to suit and make it a one piece (side skirt-flare + vented guard) if you know what I mean. As the back wide guard is already a one piece guard+side skirt. the front can be as well.
Hi Dave.... have fitted your rear light panel sent a while back (went with 3 red tail/stop/indicator lights and one smaller reverse lens).... Will post a photo as soon as I work out how to download from this damn camera! Think it looks pretty 'smick' if I do say so myself...even my smart-ass sons who run the printing factory (let me know if you ever need any printing done!!) think they look pretty good... quite a change from their usual comments about their old man!!! Reason I'm PM-ing is: Do you make-up/have any 4-gauge in-line holders for centre dash mounting?? Thanks, Mike (mikemd)
Hahaha.... didn't read the bloody thread, did ya Baz???? I told Gonzo the 'story', then told him I was 'PM-ing' him about possible dashtop gauge holders...so, stop picking on me Bloody Baz!!!:nono: :nono: You're just impatient to see the results of your boy's handywork...
AND... as I was about to say....I pressed the wrong button!! Hit the 'Reply' thing thinking I had already got into the PM section direct to Gonz.... doh!!!!
chipping hows the wear and tear on these things go by way of stone chips and the like, i know i had a "high"quality fibre glass front bar added and it just got mangled by small flakes of cr&p coming off the road love the look of these, tho and may be down for a pair
up dates For people that have these ordered they are about to be sent out this week. Someone asked about ware and tear. Stone chips will cause damage on any paint work. And the front of the car will cop the most so the guards shouldn't have as much trouble with stone chips or don't get to close to cars when on a dirt road.
In regards to the weight of the factory guards... My estimate is they're no more than 2kg. I've had to replace my left one when I pranged her. They're not heavy at all IMO don't expect a big weight loss if any.
Hey mate, what day were these sent out? Just curious so i can have a rough ETA on when my car will be back on the road :zlove:
no dire rush for mine bought a pair these off of ebay.... assuming they are yours. Didnt see them on here. Read that your services are constantly in demand. There is no dire rush for mine.... car has been immobilised for 2 years now. Lil bit longer wont hurt.
Sure can But as well have PM each other about your LNP guards I don't think people on here know what LNP guards are yet.
I can help you With a set of guards but not with painting them. As I don't do painting of Z parts any more. PM me if you wont to do a order.
