Moving back to NSW soon, so time to get rid of the Zed and get a bike (cheaper, plus won't need a car). Many SA Zedders will know it, but pics below.

I purchased this Zed in 2001 and have had nothing but smooth sailing with it. It had 91,000 on the clock then, and is just over 147k now, so definitely not over-worked even tho it has been my daily driver for a few years now. It has seen a few cosmetic changes, and definitely sticks out on the road. The only minor mechanical dramas I have resolved are the top radiator tank (replaced brand new), plus the Master and Slave Brake Cylinders. It does have some bumps, knocks and rattles associated with any 18 year old car, but the drive is still sound, and you won't be disappointed with the performance. Pulled 130 rwkw on the Dyno a few years back, and has had no mods since. The exhaust tends to resonate, but if it something you feel is too harsh, wouldn't be much of a drama to get an X-pipe put in to fix this. It has an immobiliser installed, but having a few problems with it not working so I tend not to enable it. LHS power mirror not working as I disconnected the wiring a while back when trying a different mirror, and did not re-wire it up. Also, the hatch paint is slightly faded, which is barely noticeable while driving, only when you look at it closely. This would be easily touched up and properly coated, which I suspect the Paint mob did not do when I removed the spoiler.

I would buy that... i would definetely buy that. My dad says that the more mods you have the higher insurance is.... im in SA can anyone verify that or is he just trying to make me buy a zed as stock???
