[Vic] Aussie Day Weekend BBQ

Many thanks to Jen & Pete for organising a wonderful bbq. Was good to see a lot of the old familiar faces again, and to meet some new faces!

Nice day, nice people, nice cars and a bbq to top it off.....

And Mikey learnt another life lesson today; check that the bbq you have reserved actually works..


I felt sorry for the bbq once graham started kicking it..

yes it was a great day. many thanks to peter and jen for inviting us along, met some of the forum members and enjoyed there company. looking forward to big col gor cruise and meet a few guys that could not make this one. ps there were some good looking zedz there, every one takes pride in there cars, good to see the passion. all the best bigmax. :zlove: :biggrin:

is my bald head, thankyou Kath un't Simon. Picked up some chrome bits thanks rzm, met a few people, checked out some nice zeds, nice cruise few hours spent.

 

sry i couldnt make this trip guys, had to work and after the auto on the zed went im trying to not spend money on fuel for a while, hence why i didnt come. i will be there for the GOR though so will see everyone again soon.

At about the same time you were all counting lamb chops, I was counting sheep! Got home from work at 0930 totally 'shagged' and decided my time would be better spent piling up some "ZZZZZZZZZZ"s, rather than Zeds. At least you had a brilliant day for it.

Well thanks guy's enjoyed meeting some of you yesterday and thanks to Beaver he greeted me when I arrived and made me welcome as I did not now anyone at the time so it was nice.

..It was good to meet some more of you fabulous Zedders, and some other newcomers. (even the drunk guy lol...)
Biggest buzz ever was cruising down the road wit those Zeds. Felt like a Million bucks, even my Wiffy and Kids enjoyed it.
Thanks Mr & Mrs Wykked, even though I/we had to leave early it was still a great day.
Got some more inspiration for the zed.

Great day and a nice drive up there, it was fun having all the Zeds on the road together, especially seeing the poor Queenslander's reaction as we went past him.

I think Jen took some shots of the convoy so that would be good to see.

Good to see people again and meet some new people, a great day for it and the few hitches we had (Mikey, surely after the hassles you had not rechecking the car you bought in the A.C.T. you would check EVERYTHING before you commit to it these days?) were very minor ones.

Thanks to all involved for organizing it.

 

Hey, I was asked to reserve a bbq, no-one specified a working one! Anyway, I thought it was a standard issue public bbq, didn't realise it was a Z32 bbq which would need checking ... where was the Conzult port???

Aside from that glitch it was a good day, good to meet up with old and new Z buddies. Even caught up with LittleMax (as opposed to Bigmax) back at Wykkeds place afterwards. Hopefully at some stage during the year I'll be able to turn up at one of these things actually driving the Z!!!!

although......... now that I think about it.... since you are taking the photo from the front of the pack, that puts the pesky red wykked mobile at the front....

damn you red zeds...
