Another PZP product for 2008 is a dual intake kit for NA's and TT Z32s...

I have one sample in 2.5" unpolished aluminium. I've only got the one as it is 2.5" and before I release them for general sale, I'm upping them to 3" to better suit the size of the AFM and surrounding piping.

This is the one and only sample unit... Couplers and clamps not included with this sample... thus the cheap price (you'll probably need 4x 2.5 to 3" reducers and some clamps to suit).

The sample was a little manked up at one end but a 2.5" coupler still fits over fine (pictured bottom right). What you see is what you get!

    PRICE: $100

    Sweet...

    Far out, that's sweet Tom...

Never seen these in Australia yet...let alone Perth...

Are you going to make a batch of these for group buy?

Also, what filters do you use for this and do you need to re-tune your ECU to cope with it or does it work the same as the single stock version?

I've seen them on a lot of US cars, but what are the benefits?

    Cheers
    Rob.

Thanks Rob... I'm trying to bring bigger and better mods to zedders... I'm sick of the US having all these massive HP z's and pulling 400rwhp out of stock motors... I want aussie Z's to start setting the trends.

I will offer these in a group buy when my new 3" stock comes in... They will be the largest of the dual intakes available. The kit will include silicone couplers, clamps and an ECU EPROM with dual MAF support.

An ECU retune is necissary but I will include a base tuned eprom with dual maf support to get people up and running. I would recommend using Apexi Pod filters with this kit... I'll try to supply these also.

Benifits is more air = more power once the AF mixture has been tuned. The X section allows air to flow evenly into the intercooler piping.

So you ditch the MAF completly, and just run two pods?or get another MAF?

Sorry what I said before was a bit confusing... it's not a dual maf, its a dual pod... one maf. Price will be around the $229 mark.

okay then, so whereabouts does the MAF go just off to one side then the ecu upgrage doubles what it reads?

Correct! There is a multiplier in the ECU that determines accurate AFR. This is double when a dual intake such as this one is used. The cross section on the PZP intake kit allows the air from both pod filters to be evenly distributed to both sides of the intake system.

Will the 3" one work for me as ill be getting a haltech so i wont be running the AFM?

Yes, if you are not running any MAF's and running a MAP sensor it will work fine...
