The round parts stick out like 2" from the car.

They are the laughing stock of tail lights here in the states. If you have to do it, go with this style.

Yeah thats nice John I like

But dont you think we are taking one of the main styling cues away from the zed. After all the rear lights make a statement like the Z is here very unmistakeable in this day in age where every cars rear end looks very similar and if it werent for badges we would be screwed. Is that a magna or the camry   ahh badge cool:cool:

Personally, I would NEVER go the round lights

I think that the unique style of rear lights we have help our cars stand out from the rest and help maintain the low, wide and sleek perspective of the car.

I have the round tailights on my car at the moment but i would go back to the standard Z tail lights if someone would make them as LED tail lights. i'm not gonna spend money on 2000 spec when they use the same type of bulbs.

I want the new look that all new cars are coming out with.

    yeah my thoughts exactly

im not dead-set on them jsut wanted to see a few pics and available options. started a war :bash:

anyhow ive decided instead of round taillights im gonna spend the money on a roof scoop, spinners and an exterior shift light

det and 02 sensor troubles now, visual money is going into that now instead :(

someone meantioned standard lights, except with LED's??? i wonder how that'd look, sounds like it could go either way.

ive gone with some flush LED's

Ive used some round flush LED's(40 bulbs per light) mounted in a set of standard lights and painted. The centre panel and lights will be sold off (3piece with standard round lights:eek: ) once w/body kit is fitted with one piece tail light panel and 3rd brake light panel. I'm not going to run any reverse lights in the centre between lights (like in pic).will locate some small leds for reverse lights somewhere where they can only be seen once illuminated (behind mesh).
Thats all in motion now ! . Here is a pic of the old lights before body kit etc.

and this is a rough p/shop of the look im going for ! with the possibility of an old school A9X polished drop tank.

Its a slow process at the moment, but its getting
