    nice rims mate!!
how much do they weigh? was considering going for tempe tyres a while ago but heard their rims are quite heavy.
any idea what rubber your putting on them yet?

Any chrome type rim is going to be heavy thats a given due to the material they are made from and the chroming process.

My 20inch chrome rims with tyres require some effort to fit to the car wheras the racing hart light weight rims can nearly do one handed if it wasnt for lining up the stud holes.

Looks good Simon much better in real life pics.

thanks jason,as usual, you wrapped it up nicely, for wheels at the price you have to sacrifice the some of the weight issue,it is a road car anyway
and jay the tyres im putting on are 235/40/18 front and 265 or 275/35/18 back,i believe i will be stretching it to put on a 275 on a 9 inch rim i think,
im curious to hear the pros and cons of the max tyre size i can put on a 9 inch rim

I got my rims in person from Tempe. Im about 30mins out from them! For a range of rims there unreal, and no one can beat there prices!! Like typical ethnics, you show them up front cash and theres many of savings to be made!!! (LOL I say that coz Im ethnic and speak well from experience!) I got about 10 days ago, 4 new tyres, 235/35/19 front and 265/35/19 for the rear and it came to $1000 with alignment. 4 Kumho's.
I was very happy with that and I got good experiences from my last use in the same Kumho's!!!

OMG Simon....... to be brutally honest..... they look like something right out of a California "Bling Shop". Not at all Z a-typical type wheels. Truth be told, I much prefer your current wheels over the new ones. To me, they seem to suit it that much better - read *it looks like they belong*. Oh well, to each his own. Was it all about the dish??

My first choice is still the RacingHart wheels..... Mmmmmm:zlove:

mmmm dish. There's so much dish simon, makes it hard for me to tell which wheels were the front and which were the backs. lol. I remember when I was looking at rims I hit tempetyres and I liked the tracer series too but I wanted the shadow chrome finish because I don't think the chrome suited the silver like it suits the black. But then I found my rims (Gmax energy's) and they were a reallly light wheel and I decided to go 17's because I wanted to put better tyres on for less money. lol.
You're probably getting your tyres from rik and micky at bob jane box hill? If not give them a call because they hooked me up when I got my rims and tyres. And from memory they said I could fit upto 275's on the rear but they are pretty expensive and with a rear wheel drive car and a heavy right foot I'd probably chew threw them pretty frequently. So I went for Nankang NS2's on the back 255 wide. I think they're pretty good for the money I spent (150 each 255/40/17).
What tyres are you planning on getting?

Of course he already knows what I think of the wheels! :D

    Cheers, Andrew

p.s. theses are polished silver, whereas his are chromed...

    255 for rear...

For a 9" wide rim you'll be looking at 255's. 265's would be exceeding it but you would just get away with it. 275's, out of the question...you'll need 9.5" rims minimum for them. :)

Nice upgrade mate. Chrome will surely stand out against the best colour in the world...black! :p

Have fun with the new rims...

    Cheers
    Rob.
