http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Z32-300ZX-in...yZ102557QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem#ebayphotohosting hey people, Can i please get some thoughts on these intake pipes? I need to replace mine and these seem like a pretty good deal but i'm a bit skeptical of buying products from overseas on ebay, even though its an australian account.. Has anyone actually bought these? Cheers
not to do with the item - but just becareful about his feeback rating - its not that low for a reason
looks pretty cool....but i think many will say that it will get wrecked pretty quick its its cheap.....you get what you pay for kinda thing.....but i still find it hard to belive that these hoses are a few hundred bucks..
Thanks i checked that out earlier, only 1 bad feedback brought it down.. The other buyers seemed to be pretty happy. I figure You'd have to do something pretty rough to damage hoses, he seems to sell a lot of skyline bits which could easily get damaged.. Might wait to see if someone has actually got some off him
I checked out TTZED and theirs were $460 I wouldnt mind getting polished hardpipes oneday.. I'm hoping they will last long enough till i get them, but thats only going to be when i can afford real bling bits
yeah just go through all hie feedback to see if anyone has purchased the ones your after - could take a while though
crap! no good! has a lot of silicone stuff on there for most cars deosnt look like many people buy them though. maybe i'l just buy them and post up weather they're good or not someone has to do it
Good on ya.... ....btw does anyone have pics with a pretty much stock engine bay with these silicone type of hoses... cheers
Where are the clamps?? Don't forget to factor them into your cost as there are clamps and then there are clamps. The high quality stainless stuff like caz for example sells with her kits is expensive... Also no mention of how thick is the silicone? How many layers? People pay top dollar for brand name four ply stuff for a reason. Not saying this is shit but it may well be so make sure you ask the seller before you buy. His other kits look like bok-choy crap so be careful. I really love this from his hard pipe kit "This Kit Offers up to 40%-60% increased air flow compares to standard bent piping" -Really???? So why doesn't this translate into improved HP???????? Anyways you get the idea. I'm always sceptical of this stuff. If there's nothing wrong with your stock pipes I would suggest you save your money until you can afford some high quality brand name stuff. A vacc leak on one of these pipes will make your car run like an absoloute dog. Your better off spending extra, those ebay intake hoses look like they may collapse when hot, anything under reinforced 4 ply is a waste off money.
That's a really cheap price. My set was $495 a pair! (pic) http://www.photodump.org/stored11/zed006.jpg Just be aware of the quality, as posted "you get what you pay for"
lol damn no offence but they do look a little outa place only saying cuz i have a stock engine bay as well and want some, but from that i think i would need some other bling to go with it :zlove: but still looks better than stock
yeah, I agree but my stock rubber hoses were split. I nearly got black ones and kinda wish I did. It doesn't look nearly as bad in the flesh though. I don't really care too much for blinging up under the bonnet. I'm too lazy to keep it clean.
Anyone interested in 6 Ply red or blue for TT for $150 plus $20 postage? can get hold of them if anyone interested? this is a price for 10 x buy.
Six Ply Silicone Inlet Hose Kit Hi there BarcLayoni, Yep, I'd be interested in that set, do you have any other specs/pictures to show us? Cheers, Kaz.
