Japtek still operating?

    If you own a 1990's bar and not a 2k bar, you're going to have a bad time.
    It requires ALOT of cutting in order to make them fit.
    Fitment was so bad Japtek refunded part of my money.
    They told me after I bought them that it was designed for the 2k bar.

    He refunded you because it was cheaper then the tissues. :D

    Come on its an easy trim job. On a scale of 5 its a 2 difficulty.

    I even made a detail on how to do it for the early bar.

    I'm well aware you made a guide for the KKE Ducts on how to cut it out for the early bar, which influenced part of my decision to buy the ducts. :)
    The ducts required further trimming even after following your guide. :(

    I had to trim mine for the 2k bar a bit. Scissors, a drill and a pop rivet gun do the trick.

    I get emails from Japtek every couple of days.

    Japtek is still operating and not going anywhere :D:D

    In regards to the ducts, yes designed for 2k bars. On a 17year old car it's never going to be a 100% factory fit. Nothing tin snips cant fix.

    I bought a set of these ducts ages ago. Would have been nice to know they were designed to fit a 2k bar before purchasing though :rofl:

    Either way an easy fit with the snips snips :)
