Hey all, my standard seats aren't doing too much to hold me in place when pushing the car so I'm looking to get a decent bucket. Does anyone have recommendations for the most cost effective upgrades? I'm purely looking for functionality so don't care about how many JDM points I could get with recaros if there's an alternative that's just as good. I have a 2 seater so fixed back is fine and it doesn't necessarily need to be ADR although that would be a bonus. I will also need to figure out rails and probably need something a little lower than standard to fit comfortably with a helmet. I'm fairly thin so probably need a narrower seat than many for it to be useful

    Thanks for any advice.

SAAS make a good seat that is not only priced well but also ADR Approved.

Best seats I've found for 'proper' driving are fixed back buckets. The higher the sides, the less you move. I had OEM Recaro's in my zed, very comfortable and much better than stock for holding you in but not 100% for track. I had a pair of Velo's out of a rally car for a bit. Didn't move an inch. And very comfy!

    Pretty much any of these:

This one? How sturdy/supportive is it? I like to do motorkhanas so need lots of lateral support.

Yeah, I was leaning towards full buckets although I've just realised that I will need a harness for those making driving to the track with the seat installed not a great idea and adds to the price a bit. Still probably look into getting that set up though
