VIC 29th June (Sunday) Casual Zed Meet/Cruise

So whats happening with this event. Is it still on for this sunday?

 

I won't be able to make it... But plus also I don't think the weather is going to be too nice.

Well I'm moving back to my hometown of Shepparton due to a new career! Not actually moving back till mid July. I will still run my annual BLC and still join in on as many cruises as I can

What I'm getting to, is between now and then, I hope to do another run up Maroondah hwy whilst I live close enough. If the weather is nice on a weekend after this one coming up I'm
Happy to run the cruise, meeting in Eltham (same spot as BLC 2014). We can do a run up and back passing through Healesville. Not a big day but at least a catch up and a blow out of the ol' cobwebs :br:

Thoughts?

 

Okay sorry guys, been really busy with work and couldn't find time off. Pete (Daxtillion) and jamersss will still be really keen for a cruise, so I'll talk to them and organize a time and place.

No worries dude, just make sure to get a solid plan in place and a solid time and Ill be there.

 

if there's a pre meet in the morning and i'll swing by too. working during the day.

 

I'm the other way around, always busy in the morning, only free normally lunch time and afterwards (or close to it)


But if ya's are heading North I'll just join when ya come up through Bundoora or close to it.

 

Sorry guys, Im just going to be too busy to go to a cruise this weekend. But if you guys are travelling around mill park I can meet you guys at a set location nearby for a small meet and greet.

Okay guys. I've taken the Sunday after next off (29th) so that's when this will be! I've got a few more people coming from the Facebook page, so numbers are looking good.

I was thinking of meeting at 3:30, as I'm really keen to take some sunset photos, and I'll be taking my full photography set up with me.

Once again, this will be my first Vic cruise, so I don't really know the cruise routes that are usually taken. My idea is to get somewhere that would give us an aesthetic background, like by the water or up in the mountains, so please give me some suggestions!!

 

Also Rob could you please update the title for the date/time + location when decided

Lol not exactly mate, my wife's parents live in mill park and I visit them every weekend. They live in blossom park drive on a road where there is a guy who owns 2 red Ferrari's and have seen them in his double car garage many times.

I actually live in Altona with my own parents but I am planning to move to Boardmeadows soon as my wife is almost 8 months pregnant and once the baby is born, she wants us to move out.

I was going to suggest we meet up at four doors in mill park where a whole bunch of hot rod guys meet up every Sunday in the car park and display their cars. I have always wanted to crash their party in my Z and put it on display as its a public place and I thought if we had a few of us Z crazy guys turn up I wouldn't feel outnumbered.

Otherwise bliss I would suggest Williamstown as a great place to get a set of beautiful cityscape photos especially at dusk when the city begins to light up.

 

I was actually thinking Williamstown aswell. Pretty close to where I live too (Brunswick)

 

Well I can easily take you guys to a a few spots in willy that I know are good for photos. from there though your in the western suburbs there are no hills to climb and some of these coastal spots can be extremely cold with a freezing wind chill. But its your cruise bliss.

 

I'm out. Will be overseas for 2 weeks starting Wednesday.

 

A quick google maps search shows that there looks like a pretty nice carpark to start the meet at around 1 Esplanade Williamstown. Gives us a pretty good place to gather our bearings, and take a few photos.

So for whoever is keen, we'll be meeting there at 3:30 this sunday, all welcome!
