    This continues on from my previous issue in thread # http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?t=328872

    I completed a plenum pull and installed a new wiring harness and now my car will not move in Drive or Reverse (auto). When putting it into reverse the car beeps like normal.

    TPS is set to .44v.

    Would this issue be caused by a bad automatic transmission control unit?

    Also, where are the fuses for the automatic transmission?

    Car is a 91 TT. I replaced the fluid in the transmission along with a new filter during the plenum pull.

    check fluid. It MUST be perfectly between high and low for the temp its at

    What fluid did you put in?

    Dropped the pan, changed the filter and put a whole bottle of this in;

    Penrite: ATF FS MULTI VEHICLE FULL SYNTHETIC AUTO TRANS FLUID 4l

    I am not sure how many Litres come out when the pan is dropped. Will check fluid tonight.

    Have to support Madcow and QLDZR on this one. Couldn't believe how critical it is for the oil capacity to be correct. Input on the thread saved a lot of hassles and the Zed is running purrfect since filling it to the correct level.

    Out of all the things I can do to my Z I don't touch the Auto... I take it to a shop very regularly... And even more so now since running SAW kit and rebuild.

    I hope its fluid levels. Auto acted up when I first got the car (at 100KM/h engine speed was 3000RPM) opposed to my good old classic NA being 2500RPM.

    I will switch out automatic transmission control unit too. After getting under the car, auto has definitely been out at some stage in its life. Bell housing is painted dark blue, pan is painted metallic gold also. Someone obviously had too much free time!

    You were all right on the money. Low fluid was the reason!

    No error codes on auto diagnosis either. Just needs to fix a few boost leaks and I'm back in action :br:

    feels good to be driving again :p
