PPG, Albins and Hollinger don't list anything, looking to lower 5th from .75 to say .85 because .75 is too high for the track. Accelerates nicely in 4th, shift into 5th and we start cruising. The other ratios are fine, just need a lower 5th.

Off the shelf would be cheaper I guess, otherwise a custom group buy?

Wonderful intrawebs says that the FS5R50A Patrol box has a 0.836 5th gear ratio. All that's needed now are some part numbers. Got enough power to scare myself :p

Happy with the other ratios, too much clutch slipping loading/unloading if first gear is higher.

Give Hayden (or Steve) a call at Albins, and let him know that I sent you (David Walter, guy with the E-Vade). I am sure they will cut a gear set for you at a very reasonable rate.

Thanks dd but a Patrol 5th gear will be fine, it's a new gearbox so everything else should still be good. All that's needed now are some part numbers.

Sort of surprised that the Patrol 5th is not a fairly common track car fix, the gap between 4th and 5th is a PITA around 200kph.
