I would have thought an 8" rim requires a 245 tyre and that would also give more height in the sidewall. PS: that wheel doesn't look as good as I expected because you haven't spaced it. Take a pic with the 25mm spacer in the same place, same angle. For comparison. Tomorrow?

They are different rims front and back. I am happy I suppose... I am still not sure. I haven't been able to drive the car anywhere to see it at varying angles because one of the spacers studs are bent and I can't get the rim onto them. You wouldn't know anything about that, would you David? Lol. Taking them back to 999 now and I'll see how the sale of the rims go. On a good note, a 25mm spacer on the front sits fine and the rears don't need to be spaced at all.
I've always found the 18's+ to be a terrible unforgiving ride on nz's country roads (chipseal), but the 17's seem to just have enough sidewall to take the edge off without losing too much handling.
You would not be using the spacers that l returned, because the ones I used were not the right size for our cars. I told them that l wanted hub centric for Z32, but the ones they sold me were approx 70mm bore and no collar. Obviously l was blind and didn't notice the wrong bore when looking inside the bubble wrap envelope. BUT l told you all that while you were sipping your second beer. Did you buy the wrong ones? or do they have collar inserts? What is that "O" on the floor? PS: they spent 20 mins looking at the spacers before giving a refund.
Yes I knew this, I had no intentions of keeping those spacers. I just wanted to get the rims on to have a look. If I liked them, I was going to return them and get GKTECH spacers. Saves the hassle of getting a refund through an online store. The spacers you had were the same exact set that I bought and just returned.

I only used one of them, the other one stayed in the bubble wrap. Trent, you do realise that the studs were only positioned in the holes and still had to be pushed in from the back? Stud would not have been bent, just wasn't seated correctly because that one had never been fitted to a car. The one with the straight studs had been aligned and fitted when it was on my car, so those studs were seated. Anyway you took them back (no sale)
