http://www.stancenation.com/2012/12/18/form-function-stevens-stunning-nissan-300zx/ He's gone and repainted the thing along with fitting some gigantic SSR wheels. Waaaaay too much camber, haha. When it was black: And now: -A ... if all you can come up with "too much low too much camber" then please keep it to yourself it's all just more of the same.
Do you know which version front bar he used? Curious if it's one of those urethane ones getting around in the US...
yeh its the urethane one, i spoke to him about it. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Nissan-300z...Parts_Accessories&hash=item256d93db26&vxp=mtr
How does it fit? Looks to be a better fit than the UAS bar along the seams (where it meets the fender) but in some pics it looks like it has a little overhang at the ends (as in extends past the fender into the wheel arch). Hard to tell though...
i spoke to many of the members that have the same front bar in urethane and from what ive gathered its a really good fit but others have stated the same as you. In these pics though it seems his front bumper isnt actually attached correctly, (our drivers side) overhang is probably from slight impact. I doubt it would be better than 2kspec though, ill be purchasing one of these soon and ill post some pics.
That's what I'm thinking. I think if I was to change front bars I'd just go genuine 2k spec, I'm well over aftermarket stuff that doesn't fit like it's supposed to..
you know whats always bugged me about his zed? It's not the camber, the stretch, the low. It's all the damn stickers. The shopping list on his old setup & now what constantly jumps out at me on his new one is that front shot & that speedhaus sticker. Maybe its the designer in me but its dead flat(ish) & every line around it curves & dammit it bugs the hell out of me! Otherwise though, yeah sweet zed, has clearly put a heap of time in it.
I'd love your master knowledge then, cause I remember Mikey saying they were near impossible to fit correctly. I'll hit you up when I get mine repaired.
