Where can i buy radiator hoses????

    Hey Guys,

    After radiator hoses (top & bottom) can anyone tell me if they know of a good deal in Aus? In a hurry...

    Should i be going with silicon or rubber????

    i would replace with oem hoses.

    while you at it , flush you cooling system, maybe even get your radiator rodded at the same time.

    not sure about the smic's

    but the hoses are the same hoses they sell on ebay for 80$, and silicone should last longer than rubber.

    i replaced all my hoses with silicone. especially the heater hoses at teh back of the engine which was initially the cause of my na engine failure. it holds up better to heat and temperature difference over a long time i think, rubber becomes hard and is prone to cracking and eventually breaking.


    if the smic's are a good price, no harm in trying them out, you can alway upgrade later :D

    Use and recommend the ebay silicone hoses. Cheap and work well.

    For the cost of getting a rad rodded you might as well get a ally one. Heaps cheaper compared to years ago.

    Have a search on ebay for silicone hoses as well as a 3 core TT radiator...there is a brand new one listed in VIC for $120 plus post if i remember correctly

    The SMIC's on car craze come from the exact same factory as the japtek ones which are also the same ones on a lot of other sites

    They are top quality and I've got a set put away for when I do my TT swap

    carcraze have the smic's on ebay for 390 plus post, so if your getting them go through the website, they are only 340 there.

    I bought a set on sale ages ago, for much much less than both of those prices
