Don't know if anyone is interested, it seems a bit rough but it's very cheap for a 97

    Here.

What a piece of shit. I'm sure it's not really a '97, just imported or complied then.

Quite possible but if it is a 97 it might be worth it, especially as the price is ONO

Your pretty much buying a '97 shell in horrible condition...

Motor sounds like a write off, and body isn't far off :(

depends what the tap is, could be anything from snapped rod stilll spinning around in there to lifter tap, what do you expect for $3k ONO though :p

Nice colour, and the alloys on the rear look good, even if the motors shot, you'd get enough off it in spares to pay for itself.

Not really. Well, not in WA though. Been so many cars parted out over the last 3 or so years that nobody needs much. Unless it's aftermarket/sports.

Yeah, as far as parting it out goes you'd need the motor to be OK, a good manual conversion kit and late model interior.

In reality it's only any good as a cheap base for a late model Zed project.

I don't see one single indication that suggests it is anything other than a resprayed(non-factory colour)and an early model(due to the amber side indicators on the front guards).

Amber side indicators? That doesn't mean anything.

s1 front bar indicators and what appear to be aluminium front calipers all point at what is probably a s1 zed with an owner who knows nothing about his car (except that it's a bright blue race car).

Thanks Ryan, exactly the point I was making before some genius took issue with my mention of early series Orange blinkers on the front guards.

Actually I think you're missing the point Lloyd, as every jdm zed had orange guard indicators (with the clear ones being nismo or aftermarket). I was referring to the front corner lights which changed to include a kerb light in series 2+.
