Hate to burst your bubble Chili but while I have only been here a short time I am not that naive, I grew up with VG Vals and ht holdens etc. I remember my mum driving a 56 ford prefect. and the list goes on, I may only be 38 but I remember when a 14 sec pass was respectable for a street car and people went wow when you had 200 + RWHP 400RWHP was crazy stuff and top fuelers had half of what they have now.
