Only reason for selling as as simple as IMO these are not suited for everyday driving on everyday roads, and as my Zed is my daily I really have no use for them. I was originally looking to improve the stance of the zed and add a bit of better handling, in saying that it was great for height adjustment it could go higher than stock at the back and could get about the same height as stock at the front then realistically as low as you could ever want all round without hitting the ground

If however you are setting up a zed for Circuit racing or drifting these are perfect, everytime I hit a corner that had a good surface it made ALL the bumps and shit roads worth it, really impressed me how much difference just a coilover made. Felt like it kept the car more rigid by being flat around the corners and was also a lot more predictable when the rear wanted to come out to play... (note, I have a 2 seater)

Here is the long story as far as I know...

Originally custom ordered for a drift car through Caz Racing.

Sold to Martin here on the forum who used them for a bit and replaced them with KYB/Eibach's as the coilovers were a bit 'racy'

Sold to me, sat in my Z for a few months with no motor in. I lent them to Ztoy for a track day and after that he bought them ;) I got Tein SuperStreets after that.

He sold them to someone as he was making the car more street orientated.

    After that I don't know :)

Yeah this isn't news to me, thats why i had them listed as used. Prior to myself and after Ztoy I THINK a member matt15 owned them
(Ref: http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?t=305392 ) by the looks of it but didn't get around to fitting them, then Hukie90 bought that lot off him
(Ref: http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?t=307252 ) and owned the car with the coilovers again not fitted and then his mate crashed the car (NOTE the coilovers were not fitted to the car when it crashed.). So then instead of fixing it he sold it to brytech with the coilovers.. and then Bytech knew I had been looking for some coilovers so sold them to me.

Hope that clears it up that last bit

    Xav

I had them fitted but found them a bit rough for everyday driving, and lower down Crispy has posted martin had them fitted but again he found them (a bit racy) more suited for track cars, and if you read in my post I did say I reccommend them for a track car or drift car setup over everyday use so that's obviously why i'd say so many people have owned them but quickly sold them not realising what they're suited for.

yeah that was a realistic offer..

kinda raises a few alarm bells after having several owners

can get a brand new set of teins or bc's for the price your asking

if you change your mind the offer is there.

Ok I can see where your coming from (but IMO 50% off after a price drop is a bit much), also, yes they have had a few owners but I have given every bit of info I know about these coilovers not many people would be that honest when selling coilovers to try and get a better price. And they may have had a few owners but in all these are still in great working condition and for all the extras they come with I believe they are worth what I am asking, aswell I am in no rush to sell, so no need to sell them off quickly for less than what they're worth.

yeh just looking the ones you sold were final price listed as $100 less than what im asking.. maybe were new but with only one set of springs and no rebuild kit? So not a huge difference.

I ran them for about a year. They were fantastic for track work but as has been said they are just to rough for street driving. Its just the nature of coilovers with linear rate springs.
