    Hi all,

What's a good insurance company for a J-spec TT ZX?

Im 22yo and the 300 is a weekend car if that matters.

How come insurers like AAMI don't offer a listing for the TT?

    Thanks

    Sam

F/Inj= fuel injected engine I suspect....
Do a search of "insurance" . It will throw up heaps of posts on the topic. And as Madcow suggests, make sure any policy you consider positively has twin turbo written in it.

I have the house and ladys car with AAMI but they refused to insure the Z. They told me to try Just Cars and they sound like they would insure anything. So i went with them:D. On the phone they said i can do any mod i like as long as i let them know. The stupid thing is apparently AAMI own Just Car Insurance ?

SGIO seems better than Just car if I can get them to list the TT. If not, seems that Just car will be the go. pretty disappointed that the online quote I got today is $300 dearer than the quote I got 3 weeks back!

Thats what Justcar is for, so that AAMI doen't have to deal with heavily modified cars. When I was wanted to insure mine they told me to use Justcar and they have always been great.

Haha, well ill go against everyone.. I'm with NRMA cause they initially offered me about $1000 cheaper than all competitors, and have since dropped my insurance by about $1300 from no-claim bonus etc.. I'm only 19, and only NA, but yeah, it worked out that only 3 or 4 insurers would actually even consider me.. just cars quoted about 2000 more than nrma, and GIO? quoted like 8k a year :O

Ive got just fire and theft with NRMA cause full comp was over $3000 for my $6000 car...
When i turn 21 im going to go with AAMI (they do allow my NA) cause of the free drivers course with the 10% off after that... brings it below $1500 :)

I got quoted $2000 full comp with just car and this is with all my mods included and nobody has been able to match or beat the price...ill check nrma but doubt it would be cheaper.
