does anyone have any ideas as to where you can put your sub and amp in a 2seater besides the boot?

12" sub and generic enclosure fits quite well between the shock towers.
Personally looking at 2 x 8" slimlines in my NA behind the seats. Preferring concealment to high bass.

I know a guy that had a slimline sub mounted on the sloping surface that leads to the parcel shelf. I've got my sub in the boot but use a false floor to achieve a perfectly flat surface up to and including the parcel shelf:

500W sub sits underneath the main square, with the little silver amp up ahead, and a second little amp underneath the passenger side false floor.

    .. besides the boot.. ?

    the roof ? LOL..

Someone did make a fibreglass center panel to fit a 8" sub i think..
OR.. you could make a mount for it on the parcel shelf for a single 10" sub low profile

i mounted my amp on the black carpeted parcel tray behind the seats. I reinforced it so it would stay in the right shape and not be dangerous in case of an accident. my sub is still in the boot though.

yeahh thats what i was thinking but i had a look behind the seats couldnt tell if the shit there was strong enough, thinking if i can get a slimline sub or something similar on the middle parcel shelf and amp behind passenger seat or underneath would be sweet, does anyone know how much this slimline go for?

Thats mine, sits in place of the parcel shelf, and the rear of the box is moulded so that the cargo blind cover wedges it in place, with the box extending straight down underneath it.... ill get some more pics for you to see what i mean from behind.

And before anyone asks, NO it does NOT obscure rear vision, AT ALL. Cant even tell it's there. I run a re-built Polk-MOMO 12" that is pretty deep.

nope, you will have to make a good enclousure out of fibreglass and incorporate it with that wall trim. member mattz has done this really nicely :zlove::zlove:

Could shape a hole in the tray-like thing in between the rear wheels. Have the sub mounted in the floor and an amp bolted onto the floor right next to it. Or you could mount in front 45 degree wall right in between seats if you know where I mean. :) good luck.

You can now buy a sub and amp all in the one unit, which fits under a standard seat, suitable for utes etc where there is no room for a sub.

Not only will you get bass, but a massage whilst you drive. :D

Just out of interest. How much room is there under a standard 300zx seat anyway? Could a slimline underseat sub fit under there easily?

    I found this sub online, 380 x 280 x 80mm (LxWxH): http://www.vfmaudio.com.au/product.php?id_product=318

However have no idea of the quality or performance, alhtough they market them as being ideal for ute's or sports coupe'.

Hey while there's an interest in subs,, can I just hook the back speaker cables into a amp and run a sub and new back speakes off it without dugging into the dash??

Dont fancy your chances. They will have to be very small.

Just finished my fitout. Amps under the seats and 2 x 8" slimlines in the panels behind the seats. Neither fitted. Amps ended up where the subs should be, and subs strapped down in the boot :(
