Hey peoples having clutch issues. everytime i lift the Z off the ground i have to bleed both clutchlines ,was just wondering what could be the cause of that and also the top bleed valve at the end of the pipe, the actual block or what ever it is called, that the the bleed valve screws into is threaded aswell so I was wondering what options i have to get my Z mobile again.:zlove:
Sounds like you just need to bleed it for longer and get "all" the air out. This can take some time unfortunately. From the sounds of it, air is still trapped inside the line and when you tilt the car it allows the air to travel further up the line and into the master cylinder. Than when you're on the pedal again it just pumps it down the line, again. Just bleed baby, bleed. Alternatively, if the threaded bleed screw is allowing air into the system there. You can opt for one of these..... http://www.conceptzperformance.com/...ar_Type=300&UID=20110320202551150.101.102.142 It removes all the factory twisty hard lines and multiple bleed points and swaps it over to what you would see on most other vehicles. A simple clutch line between master and slave. This allows you to just bleed it at the slave. And no more problems. Alternatively for an Aussie vendor. http://www.cazracing.com.au/catalog/index.php Caz, shes awesome for parts. Just email and or call her.
If your headlight bleed screw is shot then you need to get the braided clutch line from master to slave. Bleeding is much simpler if you do this. Also, your clutch master cylinder may be bleeding past the plunger. I replaced my clutch recently to a much heavier one and it shagged the MC, couldn't bleed it at all.
