I had 44 today... it slowly went down to 37 after a drive... then eventually hit 35 when i finished the trip
Update!!! Sorry to everyone that clicks this thinking it is actually some form of update, but you want one as much as i do, otherwise you would not have clicked this post. So whats happening...
Not much of interest actually, just the time consuming prep. Aza came down last weekend and we continued prepping the car for paint. There were alot of little stone chips that needed filling and a couple of dents too. Should be good for primer this weekend and be ready for painting the following weekend. I would have liked to have had it ready to paint this weekend but I have had to do some paying work to pay for the workshop. (stupid landlady always wanting my money )
Only had a half day today so I got some more work done. Steve-o came by after work and we masked up the car and got to priming. Still need to prime the front bar and the RHS guard. Will need a few days in the sun to fully cure and then it will be time to block back and paint. This isnt a pic of todays effort but last weekends. Aza at work. Now today. Update. Aza's car is now painted and the re assembly is begining. For those that have offered parts, I will be calling on you soon as I will soon be needing them.

Nice work. What colour is that? I think Aza will be a little more cautious around the track after this restoration.

nah this look heaps better than Mk1. Mk1 was a slicktop anyway. Pregs, the colour while a gunmetal has a hint of green to it. The colour is really growing on me.

I'm a bit worried about you having such a nice paint job on your car Aza, I hope this does not mean you slow down on the track to take extra care of it...
Forum member Reyoh came through with a drivers seat, abs compy and a set of headlights for aza's car today. Absolutely fantastic Reyoh, Thanks heaps, +10 zed points go to you. Assembly of the engine bay in well underway. Should have it ready soon for an engine.
