well i was casually driving along to my local mechanic to sort out this odd sound in my engine bay

when i thought.. "you know what would be better, driving WITHOUT a wheel"

much more musculine now, you can just hear other men needing this easy mod

here is how you shear 2 studs

step 1: Park at home, in bankstown
Step 2: have some lowlife try and steal your wheels but give up after one nut is too tight
step 3: drive to your mechanic

    EASY AS THAT!

insurance might cover it if im found not at fault... because i love doing shit like this... so many LULZ there:rolleyes:

lucky no other cars were on the road... the wheel was going for ages, and quite fast, especially for 40km/h

also, i would like to thank my mechanic for sending one of his guys out to help, even though he is swamped at work today, and the car might be back on the road on thursday, friday (i hope)

Whats the actual chances that the studs werent just fatigued from being over tightened, come rattle gunned on and off throughout the years. Because, really, those rims. No offense, i wouldnt steal them.

Also those rims, do they allow for enough nut to actually thread on?

Because for the 2 to have sheared off and the remainder have their nuts wound off, there must not be enough bite to keep the nuts on.

    Any ways bad luck.

Saw a similar occurrence happen in front of me. Was a VS commodore. Putting around a sweeping corner doing 50km/h. Sparks, wheel off in the other direction (with oncoming traffic). Commy on its ass coming to a quick scraping hault off to the left. Funniest bit was seeing the drivers face as to say to himself "WTF just happened."

    Ah the memories.

Best of luck making the zed all pretty again. Looks very nice from the outside.

lol i hate my rims also, have no fear there, yeah they do allow for enough to thread on, but there has been an increase in auto parts theft on my street... especially at the car dealer on the corner, i watched a van load of teens jump the fence there and start picking off stuff they wanted

cops came, saw nothing cause they all hid and left... annoying if anything

Remember that James Bond movie where the BMW was electrified when in alarm mode. I think we need those here. If they existed.

I have no acceptance towards these weasels that steal from others. Go get a real job and a life! Stop stealing.

Again, best of luck with getting it fixed.

:p used to work there and have a few mates who live that area, steal anything not bolted down, and even if it is bolted down they'll give it a go it seems! lol

Continuing as captain obvious, did you check all the other wheels to make sure theyre tight?

I laugh at this every time.

You have to ask yourself how dull you have to be to not understand, or feel/morally, that knocking off someones property is wrong. But at least its kept to one neighborhood i guess. haha.

Surely they must understand they just dont give a dam... they get a slap on the wrist IF they get caught. Bring back corporal punishment i say... take shit, lose a hand:cool:. Wish it was just in one area, seems to be douchebags everywhere these days.
