North NSW / QLD Catch up

I'm road tripping up north for 2 and a bit weeks starting tomorrow, so keen to squeeze in a few catch-ups with fellow zedders along the way.

Some things on the cards are:

• Port macquarie thursday 3/2
• coffs harbour 4/2
• Yamba / maclean 5-7 / 2 (weekend)
• Byron bay / mullimbimby / tweed heads and surrounds for most of the week days 7-11 / 2
• Brisbane and surrounds for the weekend 11-13 / 2 (maybe even longer! )
• Sunshine coast until the 18th
• I plan to be back in Newcastle on the 19th.

I'll be road tripping with my girlfriend in a motorhome, so keen to see a bit more of the areas other than the local caravan parks (full of old people who think that young folk like me shouldn't drive motorhomes ).

If you know of any mad places around the above areas, or want to catch up for a beer / coffee / or just have a yarn, shoot me a SMS or call me on 0413498142. I'll try to check my PM's occasionally, but phone is the best contact. Don't mind travelling to meet people off the beaten track either - I'm getting awesome turbo-diesel fuel economy in the van, so it's a welcome change to the zed :rofl:

 

Plans are in progress for a catchup with Mitch on 12 Feb - I shall keep everyone updated for those interested

Faaaark, I just realised that next weekend of the 12th i've previously committed to pulling a VG out of a mates Zed! Sorry guys, i'm a dumb-ass for not remembering this earlier.
Won't be able to make it. *face-palm*

But i'll be there in spirit!, and at least while all you awesome people are catching up and having fun, i'll be up to my ass-hole in Zed bits. lmao.

But no doubt i'll be drinking this during the process. [TIS]

Spoke to mitch last night - he will be stayin in the northern suburbs in Brisbane.

So looking at planning after noon drinks and a dinner somewhere - he is travelling around in a motorhome so I'm assuming has no car so will try and make it local for him.

Exact place and time I will work out in the next few days.

Yet to hear back from Al regarding help on the Zed - Mitch's plan was to hopefully take part in the zed fixup so maybe a tech day on the Saturday?

I'm out for a good part of Sunday due to prior commitments, and Saturday morning as I'm working.
I'll make it up outside of those other PITA commitments

 

Alrighty so plans at this stage are looking at early drinks and Dinner at the Brekkie Creek hotel.

I figured this was well known and has ample parking - also not to far away for Mitch to get there (hopefully some of us locals can give him and his gf a lift)
