I'm fitting some KKR330 (Chinese) turbos to my track car, I have on advice bought some 0.64 exhaust casings for these to replace the 0.86 casings I bought them with. Unfortunately they have a five bolt exhaust dump connection that is KKR specific. I expect to have the car back on the track in Jan/Feb, I will let you know how they perform.

Ha ha, yeah probably, but for $1200 bucks I can afford to put my stockies back on if they blow up. Do the chinese turbos fail if you dont push them hard? So take these turbos for example, if I was only to boost them to 16-18 psi would they still blow up?

buy them and let me know :p

going chinese on some parts like a radiator is no prob .. wont be much if any difference in cooling and easy to change if a prob .

turbos are big job to pull off and put on and can cause engine failure if they fall apart.. I wouldnt take a risk

False saving. My mate had a cheap ebay turbo that died in the arse in a couple months.

I've had Chinese factory twin replacement turbos on the Soarer and they died within 3 weeks!!
BUT I then converted it to a single slapped on a big Chinese T70 and still running fine. Done close to 80k on it! For $350 that turbo cost me I'm not complaining :)

The larger frame chinese turbo's do seem to last a lot longer... Weird.
