can you get turbo timer's on a n/a?

i would like to get one for my n/a to cool my car down so my Oil and Water temps return to normal.
plus it will be very different on a non turbo.
    what do you guy's think?

Better to just drive the last 5 minutes of your trip sedately.

Water and oil temps won't even go up that much no matter how hard you thrash it :p

I'm not a fan of turbo timers on any type of car.

M8, switch the bastard off no matter what the guages are showing.
Youll achieve nothing by idling it down.

so pointless. this is the kind of question that gets asked at places like boostlosing.

stop being a ricer and don't put parts in your car that don't do anything.

I timed how long it took for my car to cool down the other night - back to almost cold. 4 hours.

So, if you think having a turbo timer on to cool your car down for 30 seconds to 2 minutes (or so) is going to make any difference at all to the water temperature, then I think you are going to be very disappointed.

Give it up as a bad joke.

PURE WANK FACTOR. Get the exhaust whistler, vortex generator, and electric turbo while you're at it...or buy something that's worth your money and actually does shit.

TURBO timer not N/A timer like they said pure wank factor, save your money and use it to do a regular service if your worried about reliability. also most guys with turbos dont use them anyway just another PITA loom hack you have to do and its pointless if you take care of your belovered z

    Now,

IF it was an old Jag MK2, it would probably not be such a bad idea. When you turned it off after a long run, the fuel in the carbs used to boil causing all sorts of burping noises and smells.

That engine was designed 60 years ago though.

it can be done.. if you really want it done do it..

just make sure you get someone who knows what he is doing to do it..

kind of a wank factor.. but it seems like alot of people like doing it, ive put in quite a few in many different cars.

they say they like it when they walk away form the car and people say.. "your car is still on"

the reply usually goes something like "she'll be right."
