Hey, Long time..former Zed owner here :zlove: Has anyone seen this Zed before? Does it belong to a former forum member? Trying to dig up some history on this vehicle.. The dash is different with 3 gauges installed on centre mount.. Running on Volk Wheels with RE01's..cross drilled brakes Thanks
lots of extras on that car thats for sure. i dont recognise it, but maybve the vic crew will.........
Thanks for the pics I have that front bar and side skirts (diff nose panel though) and my car is silver, havent got all the body parts on it yet nice to see what it will look like
Its a 1995 model from what I can gather with just over 200k on it. When I get home I'll post the VIN no. if someone could check it in FAST or something. Cheers
Nah, I don't think so. The manual aircon control is more to do with the year of the car ( late model) than it being an Aus spec. Besides it has a Jspec rear bumper and what looks like intercooler piping visible in the front bar. 95 Jspec TT for my money
nah its a jap spec NA........you can tell because rear bumper is j-spec, no rear reflectors next to plate 180kmph speedo, with no boost gauge so must be NA the manual a/c is a mystery though.......unless it was an option on later model jap cars, but i dont know this is late model coz it still has the "lovely" tweed seats
I stand corrected; I've had a proper look now (rear bar - duh!). Def. J Spec What year did the AC revert to manual? Also the clock has no reset button.
It's a 1995+ jap spec Twin turbo. It has the black tweed and manual aircon controls which were optioned on the later models along with the boost gauge which was deleted around then (made a comeback on the 2k spec models). Rear hatch has been resprayed (presumably when the rear wing was fitted). Look for accident damage though and be wary of dodgy repair damage. Usually it is cheaper to just put an aftermarket bumper on than get a stock one, and it is fitted with an aftermarket wheel rather than the oem airbag wheel which it should have fitted. Also, is that an indiglo rear panel I spot on the rear?
Yes your right Ryan, it is a 95 J-Spec TT. It has damage to the back right quarter, some scratches & dints, had a side swipe at some point I think. The Wheel threw me as well, quite like the OEM airbag wheel on the later models. Couldn't see any other damage on the car. Heres the VIN no: 6T91MPV97Y2AZC018 Yeh Brocky, thats not a clock, its the turbo timer. Thanks, hopefully someone in Vic can shed some light on this.
