Are these the things which hold the rod that holds the bonnet up? (ie. the things on top of the rad support?)

Yep, seeing that bonnet rod flopping about is a real downer... Your Z will love you for some new ones! And two clips for $7 delivered to your door is probably less than the cost of the fuel to go looking for new ones - I rang and looked everywhere for them... ended up buying a box of them from the US but only needed two for myself!

definitely interested, I upgraded recently to a 56mm rad and they didn't provide something to put the rod on. How are they attached though? Double sided tape? Clip in somewhere?
