100cpsi, this means the internal holes are 4 times the size of a standard catalytic Converter which means increased performance, and better fuel economy.

Would i be correct in assuming it'd be illegal to have these fitted? Or would i be wrong?

I'm pretty sure you need at least 200cpsi to be legal?

These cats are recommended for track and off road use. They are not EPA complied. Though they may pass Euro 2 emissions (up to end 2003), but because the holes are very big that can?t be guaranteed as they haven?t been test.

Are you planning to be epa'd?
If your exhaust is not too loud and a cop checks you out, he will see you have cats there, and thats the main thing.
Its not untill you have an inspection that you need to worry about it...

because I'd rather run no cats ...but using these(although fail if tested) saves the big fine of not having any..

    stock cats aren't 3"

I'm sure they will pass with E85 :D

compliant or not Im sure there are other things on the car that have changed emissions, hell id bet my left nut that a good percentage of stock zeds probably wouldnt pass...

a cat back changes emissions, a tune changes emissions seriously its the last thing you need to worry about.

in saying these are not road legal, WHO HONESTLY WILL NOTICE, if your smart how you drive, dont get unwanted attention, i mean a cop wont jack ur car up, get under and read the print on the cat saying 100CPSI racing cat.. if so, turn them to face the car so you cant read the label, issue solved :)

i recently just put these on my car i got in a Xmas buy, I dont notice a "SHOVE" difference in power but it feels a whole lot smoother in the mid range and got rid of a annoying 'drone' i seemed to have at about 3000k

    Hey guys,

This GB will have to be closed due to lack of interest due to EPA approval not being available on the product.
    Regards.. Dave
