2.5" Mandrel bent with some decent mufflers that aren't cannons.
Price depends on your exhaust shop.
Use search, covered a million times before :)

    Don't worry, so do I!

You know I'm coming round your place with a hacksaw to grab those Magnaflows!

    Sorry to go off-topic comben.

There are some specials on Magnaflow mufflers in the Group Buy section at the moment. Good prices!

But yeah, as 300ZXC said, use the search it has been covered many times. :D

    Good Mufflers
    X-Pipe
    High Flow Cats
    Extractors (If NA!)

All of these make for a decent exhaust system.

There's a group buy on mufflers at the moment, the magnaflows are generally accepted to be pretty good and wont drone as bad as a set of cannons, though it also depends on the rest of the system. A full system for an RHD NA will probably not be cheap if you are going to use quality parts. Main reason i'm just going cat-back.

Yeah but if I hacksaw yours, it's only about $20 for the hacksaw!

And the pipes to connect them. You're looking at about 2 grand's worth of gear there though, just FYI

Are you going to do the whole exhaust or just the cat-back? i went from the back of the car to the front. started with cat-back, then did cats+front pipes, then installed extractors.

if you just want the cat-back, I would definitely recommend you get a UAS x-pipe/centre muffler. then choose a set of oval body mufflers that you like (check out the group buy section for the magnaflow GB). then go to an exhaust shop and get them to join it up in either 2.5" or 2.25" mandrel bent piping.
for cats, just make sure you get something that is barrel shaped and not oval shaped. since the zed has both cats next to each other you will need the barrel shaped cats so that you can tuck the cats in up high so they don't scrape on driveways/bumps. get the exhaust shop to make up the front pipes for you.
if you want headers/extractors check out the recent GB thread on TTZ extractors or I think there may be some sets for sale at the moment too. Extractors can be installed yourself, it is not hard but can be an annoying job. It would be easier if you had the plenum off so if you haven't done a plenum pull and TB bypass then you can do both in one go.
as zxdevil said, it is pretty expensive to do it using quality parts. catback is a good upgrade over the stock system, but I think the gain from the headers ranks pretty high up there as one of the best mods I have done.

Those Npower stainless steel cat back systems on ebay for $500 look pretty good, been toying with the idea of picking up a system.

Yeah they 'look' good... i suppose for a cheap system they'd be ok but i'd be worried it would be too droney...

go talk to exhaust shops first, custom made cat-back isnt expensive, here in SA 2.5" dump-back is about $200 per side. so if you want dual, that will be $400, which is whatever type you want, X or H. (bring your own mufflers)

Only 1 set of TTZ headers are left!......& Caz had a customer asking about them!.......but nothing definite yet!......so if you're interested you need to be quick! ;)

Do what the rest of us do!.......buy parts & store them under your bed, in the kitchen, all around the house! :p:p:p......until you can afford to get the rest!

At a quick glance I must have about $8-10K worth of Z stuff stored around the house!:eek::eek:.......shite!:eek::eek::p

zcar91 has NPower on one of his TT's, was very droney until he fitted new Cats and sensible tips. Now almost no drone.

Ah ok, never actually heard a set personally, but have heard the mufflers a relatively thin walled. I'd imagine on an NA they'd be even more droney though.
