If I was 100% positive we'd be able to switch it from green to red color I'd spend 600 max on it lol but I wasn't sure.. I'd probably sell it after I'd bought it and found out you cant switch it to red somehow lol then I'd give it to you! But yeah, next time!! Hopefully the guy who bought it doesnt like it and ends up selling it lol -YakuzaMoon
Ohh I'd love to know that too.. I also want red ones! Will have to do some research on that unless anyone here knows how to do it? -YakuzaMoon
The only thing I can think of would be to pick up a white clock (apparently 95+ models have white clocks?) and do a cellophane mod..
I read through this thread a remembered I'd found some random website somewhere showing how to do a LED conversion on the gauge pod. Might not be exactly what you're after.. but it looks similar. http://www.xenonz32.com/LED pods.html
Thanks... I've already done a red LED conversion on mine personally, but this may be useful for someone else. I found and old thread where I spoke of this before... http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showpost.php?p=866614&postcount=16 That's an option, but it doesn't explain how the blue version is made...
Blue LEDs perhaps? I'm not sure. The screen on the left pillar looks like it may be a bit more complicated than basic LEDs. I have a little blue LED aircon button in my Calibra lol. Doesn't match anything else cause it's impossible to find Calibra parts. Had to buy the 1 aircon switch off a guy in britain who wires LEDs into car buttons as a hobby.
I visited this place last time I was in Japan. I have a photo album of it for those interested. http://s321.photobucket.com/albums/nn365/NZPilotP/Japan%20Z32%20Zone/ The actual store (if you can even call it that) is very small, and most of the parts you see online you must order in. They don't stock much stuff.
They are really nice people and told me last year that they would happily sell smaller items to Aus. Larger one could be an issue. cheers Geoff
