hey all. so got some things fixed (while more breaking on the zed recently :S) and thought time was ripe to get some professional shots of her... but pretty happy with the outcome of the pictures. let me know what you think kindest regards. rod.
Love the editing, matey! Especially the fourth and fifth. The first one could have been better in terms of contrast if the background was clearer and with less noise. Job well done! Keep it up...
thanks heaps elie. you know it's the same as yours. loving the paint! HAHA, thanks mike. thanks alot, but believe it or not, there was No editing. they are raw off the camera, what tangcla is famous for. in pitch black with light boxes. has to be seen to be believed !! cheers for the comments though mate
They look fantastic! Great work..I've always wanted a photo of my zed with a graffiti background..but not too much of that here in Bendigo..
thanks ren and brad. the shots were actually well priced considering a one off shoot.. i have my own website/club for imports. and clarence was a mate, so he did a group session (including mikez32 and sandeeps zed's + 6 other cars) around $50 for 5-8 photos as a group pretty cheap. and with what you get i couldnt recommend him more.
i think he nailed the lighting on the first one, but not very good contrasts. The others aren't that interesting but he definitely is good at what he does (plus has great equipment too) How long did he spend on each car and how did he give you the images Rod? Did he give you a CD with high res versions or email screen res saver size pics? Once i've done my shoot with Elie and done some practice shoots with my car i should be confident enough to offer my services in a professional sense and work out some pricing Also having a website with my general photographic works including a car section set up this year
Am I going mad, or is the number plate ever so slightly out of alignment In this one? lol its all I can look at now. awesome car btw
hahha im a noob, i cant tell! your a photographic finisher, you notice these things. the first picture was at 9pm, the rest at 930 on wards. so the light he used changed from a white to yellow ev, he spent around 30 minutes to an hour, manouvering the cars + time with boxes etc. and he emails the pictures, but uploads them to a download website in a zip folder. these can be printed up to A4 without losing picture quality, or for extra, he can supply raw shots, that can be printed over A0 without quality loss. thats fantastic ev. i look forward to one day working with you again bahahaha. it kinda looks like its slanting up to the right? but its been checked a billion times before i screwed it in place for level haha. thanks for the comments !
love it man, 1st one is my personal fav... kinda thing you would have seen ona nissan poster when they first came out
thanks alot josh looking forward to seeing your's now man. btw, after all the PM's and info i got out of you, i have failed haha. given up hope on what we spoke about.. but pending if your finished / running, i may continue. have all the parts waiting haha
Hey Renee, I've got a heap of spray cans left over after painting my engine & bits. Let's choose a brick wall & just go for it. It'll be unique, the first graffiti ever done in high temperature flame-proof paints.
Nice one mate. Your Zed is a credit to you. And it's refreshing to see a different approach to photographing cars.
Sweet pics Mr Zed X ....one question though, what effect is he using that makes parts of your paint look matte while others are still glossy?...looks a bit odd thats all. Very good price indeed for some great shots of your car Cheers! Craig
