    Hi,

i think i have valve cover / rocket cover leak.

Left my coolant cap open and saw brown foam.

Exhaust fume is normal - no colours.

Took this vid of the area. There was oil leaking from it. I think my coolant is leaking from there as well. Coolant was hitting the top of the turbo / dump pipe.

Would like a little more information and some still photos.
    Are you losing coolant level?
Do you have any white foam in oil filler cap
Is the coolant/oil leak from cam cover or from head gasket, you need to look more closely.
Could be leak is from oil or coolant lines to turbo!

    yes losing coolant.

no, its brown coolant foam. Appeared after i did not close the cap. Using tap water for now. Have got distill water on hand.

There is a coolant leak, which is from the valve cover, which falls down and the coolant falls onto the rear exhaust pipe / dump pipe.

Hard to see coolant leaking in progress, because i had to remove battery to get that small vid clip.

Will be doing a valve cover gasket replace next week when parts come in. Will do an EGR and PCV delete as well. Will takes pics of progress and what not

I plan to change all the fuel lines and coolant lines while i am at it. Anyone know the sizes of all the lines and lenths? So i can pop down to the auto store and grab the lines ready to replace. Remember that there's no EGR and PCV and doing coolant bypass on the plenium.

Just buy around 3 meters of standard 5/16 (8mm) EFI and coolant hose and cut them to size as you redo all the lines.

If you're leaking coolant from the valve covers you've got massive problems!

It will be obvious where it is leaking from when the inlet manifold is removed. as long as you have an inhibitor in the engine coolant.
