Hi everybody - It's Cruise Time.

As part of our ongoing fundraising efforts for the Australian 300ZX owners association, NSW will be running a combined Cruise, Lunch and Fundraiser on Sunday 11th June.

As always, this will be a great day for 300zx owners to get together. We invite you, your friends and families to take part in the cruise and lunch at Matilda Bay Brewhouse Hunter Valley. We would love to see as many Z's there as possible but if your car is not family friendly, please don't let that stop you from participating - all vehicles are therefore welcome.

    Cruise Details:
Meeting time: 9:30am, Sunday 11th June.
Meeting Point: The 7 Eleven Carpark, Corner of Pacific Highway and Waratah Rd, Berowra.
Destination 1: Wollombi (Stop for coffee)
Destination 2: Matilda Bay Brew House Pokolbin Hunter Valley (Lunch)

    The Route
At Berowra: Everyone attending should aim to meet in the carpark of the 7 Eleven at or before 9:30am with a plan to depart Berowra by no later than 10:00am.

From here, our cruise destination will be North, onto the Pacific Motorway to the Calga Interchange where we will join Peats Ridge Road which becomes George Downes Drive. We'll follow George Downes Drive all the way through Kulnura and on to Bucketty, where we'll join the Great North Road which we'll follow all the way through to Wollombi. We should reach Wollombi by around 11:20am. (All up about an 1Hr & 20 Mins drive).

At Wollombi, we'll make a long stop for Coffee. (Approx 45 mins stop). We?ll depart Wollombi around 12:00 Midday.

From Wollombi we'll take Paynes Crossing Road, all the way through to Broke. At Broke, we'll make a right turn onto Singleton Street (Cessnock Road - which becomes Broke Road). Then we'll make a left run onto Hermitage Road. We'll follow Hermitage Road through to Mistletoe Lane. At Mistletoe Lane we turn right and arrive at the Matilda Bay Brewhouse for Lunch at around 12:45 - 1:00pm
Note: Some of these local roads are currently under repair and unsealed as a result.

    Supplemental meeting points
For those of you wishing to join us from the north and south of Sydney (Wollongong / South Coast and Gosford / Newcastle for example, you are welcome to organise smaller inbound cruise groups. Just be sure to allow yourselves enough time to meet up with the main cruise starting point at Berowra.

Lunch Venue - Matilda Bay Brewhouse - Hunter Valley
1070 Hermitage Road - Corner of Hermitage Road and Miseltoe Lane Pokolbin
    Ph: 02 4998 7777

There's a variety of reasonably price food on the menu including starters, salads, pizzas, burgers, pasta and desserts, as well as beers and wines.
There's plenty of onsite parking we'll try to secure a spot, so all our vehicle can park together.

    Fundraising Activities
This is also a fundraiser day. Put simply, we need cash donations to assist in running the Forum. Whatever you can afford will be greatly appreciated. We'll be running a raffle with a $100 Supercheap Auto Gift Card as the main prize. So - Every dollar donated to the forum on the day will be rewarded with a raffle ticket to go into the draw. (See me or Rob on the day)

Rob will have forum merchandise available for sale at the event:
AUS300ZX Stickers Normally $15.00 / pair - going for $12.00 / pair - if purchasing and picking up on the day only
AUS300ZX Lanyards: Normally $15.00 ea - going for $12.00 ea - if purchasing and picking up on the day only

Again, if you make a purchase of forum merchandise on the day we'll give you a raffle ticket for every dollar you spend. We will do the draw after lunch.

    Registering Attendance
I will need numbers attending for Lunch as soon as possible so we can lock down our reservation. As per usual, add your forum name to the list and how many are attending. I will do a final number shout-out the week prior to the Cruise.

    Cruise etiquette and other notes:
We'll post up further instructions and info in coming weeks.

One important thing I want to suggest is that you try pair up with another vehicle ? a buddy if you will. I want to avoid having a situation where the whole group is constantly stopping for catch ups. If you have a GPS or smart phone with GPS and maps installed, use it; and plan the route in advance, using the google map link provided as your guide. Set way points if you know how, so you can stay on the route.

We'd really love to see you there, so save the day.:)
Any questions, feel welcome to ask.

Dazza, WA usually hosts a few events, contact Jinxed (One of the mods and also WA events coordinator and find out what's coming up. )

IN any event, there's nothing to stop any forum member from posting an event... just follow a few simple rules.

Clear title and date.. Definite, start time, where to meet and clear instructions on the route etc. A map link with route helps.. you can plan this in Googles maps and then save the link and add it to your event post. Also, a biggie, give members plenty of notice.. 4 weeks is always good.

I'm sure if you want to organise an event, there's plenty of members and mods that will assist if you need help.

    Update

    Hi everyone

I suspect we have a few people that would like to attend but can't for one reason or another.

For example if your zed's off the road but you have a daily - come along anyway.
Or, why not post up and see if someone can spare a seat.

So, if you need a ride, post up here.. or if you can spare a seat, post up here and you guys can handle the details by PM.
