The FPR800 has pretty good fuel dampening characteristics unless you are using huge injectors and teflon lines etc.

    What problems are you experiencing?

Ever since I thre the damper out and fitted the reg it takes ages to alot of cranks to start.
My pump is new and new starter so can rule them out.
I read that the damper keeps fuel pressure in the rail after shut down so iam guessing that's the issue with not having the damper.

When i had the car tuned it also appears they made the fuel line coming off the oem fuel filter enter where the oem reg sits on cylinder 6 rather then enter where the oem damepr would sit. so iam wondering does it also matter if the rail gets fuel the opposite way to oem configuration fuel setup?

I've heard of the fuel filter being ass-about causing issues, not too sure about the fuel rails... I recall some people mod them for twin in / twin out etc... so I wouldn't think the flow direction is all of your problem.

Would it be worth trying to get a damper then?
