The Chase/Kink is brilliant, so many drivers comfort lift there when with a decent handling car it's quite OK to go through flat. Then you have to have the car straight so as to be able to brake straight for the upcoming left hander. Most of us do the Regularity which has a lap speed limit, fast enough to really enjoy the circuit and it's many challenges and drive the straights flat without pushing too hard. Bathurst really should be a must do for anyone who does a bit of track work, now we weekend warriors have the chance to do just that.

Does anyone have a decent handling R32 2 seater?
Mine are pretty snappy. Too stiff, too low, too much power, too much lag, too much boost, too little wheel base.
I'd be guessing my lap times would vary by 10 seconds with my skill and my cars.
What is the lap time required for regularity?

2:36 was the best time minimum in Regularity last year, do better than that and you get black flagged for the session.

So do you mean you cannot lap faster than 2.36? that rules me out then :)
    how slow can you be?
    how much does this cost?

2:36 is actually pretty fast. What times have you done at other tracks?

No takers from here so far which is disappointing, all that's needed is a standard roadworthy car in good nick. Our spots will be filled so no problem there, it just would be nice to see some 300ZX, 350Z and 370Z's doing their thing. And their drivers saying, geez, that was brilliant, I want to do that again.

One regularity spot available, Challenge Bathurst weekend 17,18 Nov 2018, cost $1690, 2:36 minimum lap time, log booked and road registered cars eligible, share garage. More info at the Challenge Bathurst website, the Z Car Club Q being an original contributor is allocated a number of places with one entry being cancelled hence this offer. The club's contact is David d1770@tpg.com.au for EOI's, this spot is only available through him. A great well organised event you will get plenty of laps with a mostly well behaved group of Datsuns and quite a few other makes too, it's the full Bathurst circuit and will never be cheaper

Not gonna lie... I am very mildly tempted

After cruising the mounting at “60”...

Seeing some of the lines and feeling how the zed handled it could be fun

Get some practice in at that track that's like four minutes from your house first.

Seriously, if pushing your car and yourself a bit appeals then do this, we have one Z32 who has been there before because what happens is that you get hooked on the unique Bathurst experience so you come back again and again. Risk is pretty modest if it does not rain.
